Nonostante il brand di Rayman abbia cavalcato nuovamente l'onda del successo grazie a Rayman Origins e Rayman Legends, questi sono ben lontani da quel che era Rayman 3, uscito per PlayStation 2 nel lontano 2003 e tornato in HD nel 2012 su PlayStation 3.
Il creatore della serie si è lasciato andare su Instagram, dichiarando di voler far risorgere il brand così com'era concepito per una quarta avventura.
